Housing Agenda Updates Public Hearing
Columbus is facing an affordable housing crisis which is set to worsen as the population continues to rapidly increase. To combat this, the City Council has set forth a number of policy proposals to address the lack of affordable housing. You can read about the 2023 Housing Initiatives here.
Council President Hardin, President Pro Tem Dorans, and Housing Chair Favor are holding a joint hearing to discuss the progress on these housing initiatives. It will primarily focus on the following topics: wholesaler regulation, incentive policies, and creating a vacant/foreclosure registry.
