The City of Columbus is in the process of developing an application for a funding opportunity through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) Program. HUD has allocated $100 million in funding through a competitive grant process for the identification and removal of barriers to affordable housing production and preservation. The City is requesting $7,000,000 in funding for activities that support Equitable Transit Oriented Development (ETOD) at Opportunity Sites along LinkUS corridors.
If you are interested in learning more about the proposed activities for funding and would like to provide feedback on the draft application, the City is holding a public meeting on October 9, 2024 at 4:30PM at 141 N. Front Street in the first floor conference room. Copies of the draft application will be available at the meeting, as well as online at the Grants Management webpage: https://www.columbus.gov/Grants-Management
The City is also accepting public comments on the draft application to grantsmgmt@columbus.gov through October 13, 2024.
