Partnership aims to create housing ’Success Bridge’ for Columbus State students

A new program will help low-income Columbus State Community College students struggling with housing costs who are at risk of dropping out of school.

The initiative, Success Bridge, is a collaboration among Columbus State, the Columbus Metropolitan Housing Authority, the Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio, the Community Shelter Board and the Homeless Families Foundation.

How COVID-19 is Impacting Affordable Housing in Central Ohio

The Affordable Housing Alliance of Central Ohio completed a member survey to identify how COVID-19 is currently impacting the local affordable housing environment. The results are highly concerning and show significant negative impacts across all affordable housing sectors, including the homelessness system, rental operations, home ownership, and construction.
