The Ohio Healthy Homes Network is pleased to present Lead Safe Rental Housing Certification Programs, one of six free webinars in the Fall Healthy Homes Webinar Series held October 19-22. One of the most important ways we can protect Ohio’s children from lead hazards is by making pre-1978 rental housing units lead safe. This webinar will feature a variety of approaches to achieving lead safe rental housing ranging from a voluntary state registry to local ordinances requiring certification of rental housing. Key topics will be the Ohio Lead Safe Housing Registry administered by the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, Lead Safe Cleveland, Lead Safe Toledo and a proposed Lima rental registry and certification program.
