The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, in collaboration with the Urban Institute and NYU Furman Center, will host its second event in a series of discussions on economic inequality. The event entitled “An Update from the Experts on COVID-19’s Impact on Housing” will highlight current research on the housing market and will include conversations with researchers and policy-influencers on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on homeowners and renters. The forum will also address the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on housing security, wealth building and models for an equitable recovery.
Members of the press who wish to attend should contact Desmond Lee at desmond.lee@ny.frb.org to RSVP.
This event is open to the media and members of the public, including nonprofit organizations, foundations, chambers of commerce, federal and local community development practitioners, researchers, financial institutions and capital providers. All remarks are on-the-record unless otherwise noted.
