Columbus faces a serious challenge with developing affordable housing and providing rent subsidy for people with very low income. Most of the affordable housing in development now doesn't work for people with very low income. The Coalition is proposing a 3% set-aside of new housing units for people who experience homelessness for any project that receives tax abatement. What other ideas do you have to share about how to develop and sustain affordable housing?
